I thought it was just something I did incorrectly but I took this new battery and my laptop to a repair shop and they confirmed that this battery was defective and was not working. The computer shop ended up ordering me a better quality brand battery replacement and it worked after that.

Got this battery installed it my self. I am a certified technician. Installed the battery every thing good for a couple days then place laptop to charge and then it's not charging at all. The battery no longer takes charge. I am also using the original laptop charger. I would please like a refund

Came with a handy manual that tells you how to configure your settings. Simply charge for eight hours, use until it runs out of power and then recharge another eight hours. Did mine twice and it seems to work fine, no it works great! Holds a six hour charge.The battery is inside the laptop and must be opened to install the battery. Very easy but may require assistance.

This battery failed in 9 months. This is unacceptable for the price paid. Cheap lithium ion cells used. Impurities lead to oxidation and kill battery life quick. Will have to rebuild the battery pack myself to get a reliable one. $45 wasted on a headache. For the privilege of having to recon the pack myself, which I could have done myself with cells that would last 10 years for the same price.

The battery was delivered August 8 and I had a week where it didn't charge in December. I opened the laptop today and it was fully charged. Not sure what changed. Anyway, it seems to work as it's supposed to. I'm so happy that I have a battery for my laptop.
