I would like to report that it fits new Thinkpad X260. One thing to be aware of is that it is sticking out of the case and adding quite some bulk. See attached photo. I would use this only when I am traveling, and stick to regular 3-cell battery for everyday use.

I purchased this battery from Lenovobatt back in March 2018. This was a used battery, but it was genuine and I believe they claimed it was above 90% life so I went for it. I received a Sanyo manufactured battery at about 95% life I believe, so it was practically unused.I've had zero issues with the battery. I get a battery life of around 9-10 hours on a T440s browsing the internet, reading PDFs, and coding.

It arrives charged at 60% but it is reprogrammable with the Lenovo management system, it charges and discharges the battery itself without doing anything, leaving the laptop to do this process alone, this is done 2 to 3 times and then the battery displays 100%!!

My 3 year old T440 was suffering from a worn out battery, only getting 30-45 minutes, at full performance, maybe 90 min with more conservative settings. This battery enabled 8+ hours in the power saving mode and 3+ in full performance mode. It has a bump, due to the extra capacity, however, it's a hidden benefit, as I don't carry my laptop in a bag or backpack, so, it adds something extra to grab onto, as the chassis is a bit smooth, although a matte surface. I'm very pleased with my new larger capacity battery.

Battery worked Fine. The only strange thing was everything in the box smelled like it was doused in a gallon of perfume. I had to immediately take the entire box outside and open all the windows in the house for a few hours to get rid of the smell. I don't think I'll be buying from this company again.

I only wish I would have purchased this earlier for my T440s laptop. My employer doesn't really approve purchases for accessories like this so I bit the bullet and got it for myself and I could not be happier, especially when I travel. Average life is about 9-13 hours of use.
