I bought a used Thinkpad X220 off craigslist for $120 and the seller had an old 9 cell battery. I immediately replaced it with this one and battery life went from 38 minutes to 7 hr and 42 mins. I also upgraded the RAM, and hard drive. But really the battery makes a huge difference. Buy this one if you have an X220!

Charges as it should, and gives out a much longer batter life than original battery. The battery arrived in a package with a Lenovo sealing sticker on it--the product seemed like a legitimate OEM product if the seller is not a all-the-way forger. The battery works well with my ThinkPad X230. When fully charged, the remaining time shows somewhere between 5 1/2 hours and 9-10 hours depending on what I'm doing on the laptop (screen brightness around 70-80%). Right now the batter indicator says 4 hours and 15 min usable with 61% left in the battery. If I'm careful with battery usage and depending on how much I have to move around, I can make this work for the whole work day. Of course, it likely wouldn't last the whole day if you are going to sit down and use the laptop for 8 hours straight. But if you are going to hop around a bit and put in couple hours of work (something relatively light, like working on Word or PPT documents, not like heavy graphic editing or anything) here and there, this battery can get you through the day without plugging it in. I recommend the product especially given the price point around $70.

I purchased a used (probably built in 2012) Lenovo x230 a short time ago, which arrived with a standard Lenovo battery installed. It may have been the battery the laptop was sold with, as it wasn't lasting even an hour when it was fully charged. I ordered the extended life battery because I work on site for my agency and electrical outlets are few and far between. This new Lenovo 9 cell battery was an excellent choice. It charges quickly and lasts throughout my mornings, with 6 to 7 hours indicated as being left on the charge. I would readily buy another of these when the time comes. Hopefully, they will still be available. Great purchase!

We purchased a battery for my wife's laptop it worked for less than a month. I have been trying to get a replacement and return the battery. I have taken pictures and followed their lengthy requirements going to have to buy a new battery else where. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE!
